It is an object-oriented library written in C with more than 1,000 high-level functions for configuring, interacting with, and controlling real-time simulations. One function call can do the work of 1,000 lines of C code, dramatically shortening development time. WorldToolKit R9 is organized into over 20 classes including the universe (which manages the simulation and contains all other objects), geometric objects, viewpoints, sensors, paths, lights, and others. Functions are included for device instancing, display setup, collision detection, loading object geometry from file, dynamic geometry creation, specifying object behavior, and controlling rendering.
